14 - 15 JULY 2009 AIR FORCE RESEARCH LABORATOY & KIRTLAND AFB 6th ANNUAL SMALL BUSINESS CONFERENCE ALBEQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO The Air Force Research Laboratory & Kirtland AFB are teaming up with the AHCNM to host the 6th annual “Building Partnerships for the 21st Century” Small Business Conference, Marketplace and Trade Show. The theme of this year’s event is “A Salute to Veteran-Owned Small Businesses”. 20-23 JULY 2009 5th ANNUAL NATIONAL VETERAN SMALL BUSINESS CONFERENCE & EXPO LAS VEGAS, NEVADA This conference will bring together business owners – both small and large – and Federal Government representatives to share best practices of how to do business together. The conference will also include sessions on Federal Contracting for small businesses that are just breaking into the public sector. 19-21 AUGUST 2009 6th ANNUAL NATIONAL CONVENTION – ELITE SDVOB NETWORK COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO The MD Chapter hosted a very successful National Conference event in Annapolis with 350 attendees, including sponsors and exhibitors such as: Southern California Edison, Battelle, Lockheed Martin, AT&T, etc. In addition, nearly every Federal Agency’s leading SADBU, who met or exceeded their 3% SDVOB goal, attended and/or made presentations.
